Queer, Trans, & Neurodiversity-Affirmative Therapy for individuals, families, and relationships

Meet Teddy

Has traditional therapy felt like trying to squeeze yourself into a space that was never designed for you?

Are you looking for a therapist who truly understands your lived experience — not just in theory, but in practice?

Hi, I’m Teddy. I’m a queer, trans, AuDHD, disabled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I bring my full, authentic self into this work, and I intentionally create space for you to do the same.

While I support people across many identities and concerns, many of my clients are queer, trans, and/or neurodivergent folks seeking a therapist who shares similar intersections of identity — someone who doesn’t need their existence explained or translated. Together, we will build a therapy space that is affirming, collaborative, and grounded in your reality — not in neurotypical expectations or oppressive systems.

My clients often come to therapy wanting:

  • A space where all parts of them are welcomed and respected

  • Support that honors their neurodivergence rather than trying to “fix” it

  • A collaborative relationship where their goals and values lead the work

  • Freedom from shame, masking, and having to over-explain themselves

I know how vulnerable and exhausting it can be to search for the right therapist — especially when so much of traditional therapy centers neurotypical norms and reinforces systemic harm. You deserve care that affirms your identities, honors your capacity, and works with you — not against you.

If you’re looking for therapy that feels aligned, validating, and genuinely supportive, I’d love to connect.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 323-577-4288.
